Information collection

Badge On Bar does not require an account or sign-in and does not collect personal information.

The app uses macOS Accessibility access only to read the badge counts shown on apps in your Dock. Those counts, the apps you choose, and your display settings stay on your Mac and are not sent to the developer or any third party.

Analytics and advertising

Badge On Bar does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services.

Data sharing

Badge On Bar does not sell, rent, or share personal information.

Data retention and deletion

Your settings remain on your Mac until you choose Reset Config in the app or uninstall it with brew uninstall --zap badge-on-bar.

Children’s privacy

Badge On Bar is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date.
